In July, we had the honor of hosting Mr. Sanjeev Singla, the Ambassador of India in Israel, along with his esteemed team members, Rajiv Bodwade, Deputy Chief of Mission, and Naveen Ramakrishna, First Secretary (E&C). Their visit marked another significant step in strengthening connections that bridge our educational expertise with global needs.

While our discussions covered various educational programs, this visit focused particularly on ORT’s practical engineering programs. These programs are designed to equip students with the hands-on skills essential for thriving in today’s fast-paced technological landscape. We emphasized how our approach integrates real-world applications, preparing the next generation of professionals for key roles in diverse industries, including the Israeli army and homeland security sectors.

What set this visit apart was the deep and engaging dialogue between Ambassador Singla and Sharon Greenberg, ORT’s Deputy Director General and Head of Administration for R&D and Training. The Ambassador posed insightful questions, seeking a comprehensive understanding of ORT’s education system. This meaningful exchange highlighted our shared commitment to educational excellence and the potential for collaboration.

We are excited about the possibilities for future educational collaborations between ORT and India. By focusing on practical engineering and other key areas, such as AgriTech—undoubtedly one of the most relevant topics today—we aim to continue building a partnership that benefits both students and educators.
