Digital Citizenship

A program to promote digital citizenship life skills among children and youth, as an empowering and responsible norm of behavior in regards to the use of technology

An online training kit on the topic of digital citizenship, developed at ORT Israel’s Research and Development Administration. The program offers computer-based and group activities, presenting the internet’s positive aspects along with its potential risks and the ways to cope with them.

The program covers six key topics: digital communication, digital ethics, rights and responsibilities, digital law, internet and health, and digital literacy. Each chapter contains 2-6 lessons, adding up to a total of 22 activity types that incorporate group and on-site activities, a video collection, a set of case-studies and teacher resources, a range of teaching aids, and an assortment of solutions and ways of handling situations.
