Introducing the SpeedTech education program by ORT Israel Network, a cutting-edge initiative with a specialized focus on AI. This program redefines education by directly addressing the needs of the high-tech industry. In just one year, students undergo an intensive AI immersion that equips them with a robust skill set, setting the stage for a successful career as software specialists.
SpeedTech stands apart from traditional programs by embracing an immersive BootCamp approach. This method mirrors the rapid-paced reality of the high-tech sector, empowering students to tackle novel challenges hands-on. This fosters creativity and self-driven learning, aligning perfectly with the dynamic demands of the AI landscape.
The program’s success speaks for itself – an impressive 94% placement rate in Israel. SpeedTech is not just theoretical; it’s a launch-pad propelling students into the heart of the high-tech industry.
Program Objective: The aim of this program is to cultivate proficient human resources in software development. This will lead to an augmented pool of experts within competitive salary brackets. Moreover, it will address the scarcity of human resources in this industry at a local level, serving as a remedy for the deficiencies encountered within the workforce of local countries. Simultaneously, the program will help to establish a local hub for international outsourcing solutions.
Background: The Speed-Tech program, created by the ORT Israel Colleges, was first developed and introduced in 2019 at ORT Singalovsky Tel Aviv College. - Following the completion of the 1,100 hours, a 400-hour practicum will be conducted at the employing company. This company will be responsible for selecting and categorizing students based on its own criteria. ORT may aid in establishing potential collaborations with international HighTech companies located in specific countries.
- Students will acquire professional tools to effectively navigate various challenges encountered during their studies. This will be achieved through a combination of practical work experience and professional apprenticeship throughout their academic journey.
- ORT offers the option of supplementary training for Managers or Coordinators of employer relations in local colleges or vocational institutions. Their role will involve supporting students and program graduates up until the placement stage.
- Additional possibilities include guidance and oversight by ORT to establish an Educational Support and Mentorship system within colleges or vocational institutions. This initiative aims to empower students, leading them toward success.
The program’s admission requirements involve meeting full matriculation standards, successfully completing suitability assessments, personal assignments, and a qualifying personal interview. These components are designed by ORT.
The study program can be tailored to match the specific needs of companies in different countries. This customization will be based on collaborative efforts between the parties.
The recommended study schedule follows a morning format, comprising five days of instruction per week, without semester breaks.
The program equips students with the skills necessary to thrive in the high-tech market. These skills are included in the curriculum through an innovative teaching method that employs simulations mirroring real-world business scenarios.
