We are thrilled to announce that ORT Israel Education Network schools continue to set the standard for educational excellence in Israel! In the latest Ministry of Education rankings, 44% of ORT schools have been recognized for their outstanding achievements, with 11 of our schools earning the highest possible ranking. This remarkable accomplishment underscores ORT’s commitment to fostering a culture of academic rigor, social responsibility, and strong values across our network.
Every year, just before the start of the school year, the Ministry of Education publishes a list of high schools that excel in various domains, including academic performance, values, and social involvement. This year, we are proud to share that over 13% of all the schools recognized as outstanding in Israel are part of the ORT Israel network! This exceptional result is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and innovative spirit of our educators, students, and administrators.
ORT Israel’s Vice President and Head of the Education and Operations Administration, Timora Shiri, expressed her deep gratitude and pride, stating:

From south of Israel to north, ORT schools have demonstrated their commitment to excellence in education, making up nearly half of all the schools in our network recognized in the Ministry of Education’s list. These outstanding institutions have excelled in values-based education, social engagement, and academic achievement. The selection of these schools was based on a comprehensive evaluation of various indicators, including academic improvement and social contribution.
The recognition of our schools by the Ministry of Education also comes with rewards for the outstanding institutions. The winning schools will receive differential excellence grants, and their dedicated teachers will be awarded grants as well. These rewards are a well-deserved acknowledgment of the tireless efforts of our educators who continuously strive to inspire, educate, and uplift their students.
